Cynthia Rowley Fall NYFW 20
The future is feminine, fierce and female for Cynthia Rowley Fall NYFW 2020. On the afternoon of February 11th, the Spring Studios in Manhattan was the spot to celebrate the power of being a woman at her show.
The models were superstars embracing the moment with sass and class in airy dresses over t-shirts, feather-weight silks and cotton and a collage of spicy colors. Surprise was scattering models in the audience who stormed onto the runway to flirt and sashay away with our hearts in baby bonnet hoodies and sweatshirts that unzip into capes.
The hoodies and sweatshirts were badass because we march to the beat of our own drum. Yes, they were paired with beautiful print silk or peekaboo lace pants. adorable models strutted by in lovely sheer dresses if you dare to be you. Embrace the unexpected and find beauty in the flaws.
We loved the classic tuxedo tee and the chic menswear suit jacket with shorts just because we’re all business doesn’t mean we can’t be sexy. There were fabulous faux furs that any snow bunny or Bridget Bardot would love.
While it was a mash-up of color, texture, and print, every piece was designed with intention and is produced in limited quantities keeping fashion’s impact on the environment in mind. Optimism, humor, and high-energy reigned to the end of showing a gorgeous collection.
The chic posse in attendance included Bill Powers, Kit Keenan, David Dobrik, Natalie Mairiduena, Jennifer Carpenter, Seth Avitt, Arden Myrin, Alyson Stoner, Rachel Feinstein, Margaret Josephs, D’Andra Simmons, Jerry O’Connell, Stephanie Beatriz, Ashley Rous, Asia Monet, Hayley Hasselhoff, Josie Conseco, Jena Rose, Cyn Santana, Regina Spektor, Sarah Rose Summers, Rachel Slawson, Sophie Sumner and Ashley Haas.
Fashion Designer and mogul Cynthia Rowley sitting atop a fashion empire of ready-to-wear, surf and swim, fitness, accessories and home decor took a well desired bow to kudos from the fashionable tribe.
